Start your experience catching the Auckland CBD ferry (tickets included in this experience). Enjoy the 38 minute ride with beautiful views from Rangitoto island, Motutapo island, Browns Island and Motuihe Island.

After making your way to Batch Winery, you will enjoy a legacy wine tasting. This includes four of Batch wineries complex, age-worthy reserve wines produced in small quantities and only in outstanding vintages.

Then, sit down either inside the restaurant, or picnic style outside & enjoy a delicious cheese platter while you soak in beautiful views over the Waitemata Harbour toward Auckland city.

After all that, you are welcome to explore the trails of the Whakanewha Regional Park, which borders Batch Winery, at your own leisure before departing.

When you email Batch Winery to book, please include the preferred time and date. We are open 11am to 5pm in Summer and 11am to 4pm in Winter.
Ferry tickets will be emailed to you by the Batch Winery team once they’ve received your booking request. These ferry tickets are open ended for up to one year, so can be used on any sailing you like. Just walk up, present the ticket PDF, and you’re good to go.
Chuffed vouchers must be activated though Chuffed first before we are able to make any bookings on our end.
Your experience includes a thirty minute tasting in our cellar door followed by a seating in our restaurant to enjoy your platter. You will receive two separate booking confirmation emails for each of these experiences.
