The fresh (non-geothermal) water comes from a aquifer spring, which is heated to just the right temperature for you to enjoy a relaxing 45-minute soak. The tubs can fit up to six people and come with complimentary drinking water and lockers. You can bring your own swimwear, or there is swimwear, towels, and robes for hire. Check in 15 minutes before your booked soak time.

For a refreshing twist, you can take a dip in the complimentary cold plunge tubs during your soak.

Explore the unique café and bar in a backyard setting – which has smooth manuka-roasted coffee, Good George craft beer and cider, and Mills Reef wine.

Have a bite to eat, play lawn games and enjoy the outdoor campfires, or unwind with a “Shinny Dip” in the cute foot hot tubs, free with any drinks purchase.

Important Information

• You must call 07 348 4442 to book in advance.
• Your forest hot tub experience is 45-minutes long.
• Please arrive 15 minutes before your booking to allow time to order drinks and get changed.
• Hot tub hours are from 9am to 10pm every day.

• Last soak session starts at 9pm each night. Book your 45-minute soak on the hour or on every quarter hour.
• Bring your own swim wear and towels, or rent them from reception.
• Bookings can be rescheduled up to 4 hours before your reservation but cancellation requires 12 hours’ notice.
• Alcohol may not be bought onto the premises, and Secret Spot is a non-smoking facility.
