Full Day Pottery Workshop

Make your own incredible sculpture or vessel!

This is a 5 hour studio workshop, held in a private rural setting in the hills of Lake Taupo, using modern equipment and multiple hand building techniques.

Whether you’re a total beginner or a more experienced clay hound this is a chance for you to get your hands dirty in a beautiful and supportive setting under the guidance of an experienced Tutor. Limited spots available (8 per course) which ensures plenty of individual attention.

In this Workshop you will be taught the basic technique that will empower you to build that 1 off hand-built Sculptural item. Whether you like abstract or functional we will support you to get your clayzee on!

Explore the Western Bays of Lake Taupo is by Boat

Departing from Kinloch, this unique adventure offers you the opportunity to discover some of the Hidden Gems of Lake Taupo only found in the Western Bays.

Enjoy a seasonal dip in the pristine Waihora Bay or enjoy a hot filter coffee on the Lakes Edge

When exploring the Western Bays you can see the Karangahape Cliffs, hidden ravines and even stop off in the glistening waters of Te Papa bay for a picnic – either bring your own or order an amazing grazing platter from The Good Graze Co. After some food, it’s a great time for a swim in the lovely waters of Lake Taupo, or glide along on top of them with complimentary use of the paddleboards!

A great afternoon full of exploring the wonders that are only accessible by boat in the Western Bays of Lake Taupō. Perfect for couples or friends looking for a once in a lifetime adventure.

Important Information

Pottery workshop

  • Best suited to 18+,
  • 5 hour Event, Course’s Run from 12.30pm to 3.30pm or thereabouts, times can be catered to suit group bookings.
  • Your art will be fired and glazed at the studio and returned to you either via post, collection, or local delivery within 4 weeks of course date.
