If you’re taking your very first steps onto the snow, strapping on a snowboard or clicking into skis for the first time, this package will get you sliding in no time! Master all the basics as you travel on Cardrona’s beautiful slopes.
Once you’ve found your feet you can work on becoming more confident & building up for the big run– moving from a ski wedge to parallel, snowboarding steeper terrain… Cardrona can truly become your playground when you learn to ski & snowboard here!
Founded in 1980, Cardrona welcomes skiers and snowboarders of all ages and ability levels – from first timers and families, to Olympic and X-Games athletes.
Cardrona is renowned for wide, open slopes that are home to some of New Zealand’s best learner facilities, and the Southern Hemisphere’s most extensive
terrain parks and halfpipes.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
- Your First Timer Package includes a Learner Conveyor pass, one ride on the McDougall’s Chondola, rental equipment, and full day group lessons.
- Rental equipment includes skis, boots and poles, or snowboard, boots and wrist guards.
- Helmet & Goggles can be hired for an additional cost.
- Lessons run from 10:30am – 3:45pm, with a 45min lunch break at 1pm.
- First Timer Packages are date specific and single-day only. .
