The views of Auckland City and the Hauraki Gulf will wow you as you glide around the summit of  North Head/Maungauika. You’ll learn new things about one of Auckland’s most treasured historic reserves which protected Auckland against the perceived Russian invasion of the 1880s. Park your Segway up and take a stroll through the tunnels and bunkers to get up close to the ‘Disappearing Gun’—installed on North Head/Maungauika in 1887.

You’ll  visit the picturesque Cheltenham Beach, see Auckland’s youngest volcanic cone (Rangitoto Island) and have some free time to see what your Segway is really capable of at the local park. On the cruise back to our base on Devonport Wharf we take the back streets of the village, letting you admire the amazing Victorian architecture.
