The tour includes:
- Scenic drive from Wellington to Pukerua Bay where you’ll glimpse the Kāpiti Coast for the first time
- Drive up the Paekākāriki Hill for the best lookout over the Kāpiti Coast and the top of the South Island
- Visit Camp McKay at Queen Elizabeth Park Paekākāriki – the home for the US Marine Corp during World War 2
- Visit the world famous Southwards Car Museum housing a collection of over 400 vehicles, as well as three aircraft. Southwards is one of the largest private motor vehicle collections in the Southern Hemisphere
- Stroll through the idyllic Ngā Manu Nature Reserve at Waikanae where you will see Tuatara’s, a wide variety of native birds and Kiwi’s in their noctural house. Dependent upon the time you visit Ngā Manu and either feed the Eels or do the bird feedout tour with a local Ngā Manu Ranger
- Take a scenic drive through the coastal suburbs of Paraparaumu Beach, Raumati Beach and Raumati South
