Departing from Kinloch, this unique adventure offers you the opportunity to discover some of the Hidden Gems of Lake Taupo only found in the Western Bays.

There are towering cliffs, hidden ravines, waterfalls and sandy bays with crystal clear waters that are just waiting to be discovered.

This is your chance to explore the Northern end of Lake Taupo’s Western Bays with Taxicat Adventures.

This 90 minute journey departs from Kinloch Marina just a short 15 minute drive from Taupo township. You’ll swing by Kotukutuku landing and onboard any Great Lake Trail riders and their bikes while you take a 2 minute walk into the bush to discover the first of 3 waterfalls.

If weather permits there might even be time for a swim here. From the landing, you will continue on to explore 2 other waterfalls only accessible by boat, then make our scenic journey back to Kinloch.
